Opted for some handlebar mounted blinkers. Got the clamps from
JCWhitney and the blinkers from Ebay.
These blinkers are single filament so I will either have to swap the guts out of
them or get a $15 diode type set
to make them run and blink. Here's what it looks like anyhow. The
old blinkers were partially obscured from
the auxiliary lights, now they will be more noticable.
See how it really cleans up the suspension tubes? Kind of has
an old school look to it as well
which the look I will be going for..
I may try to pick up some real glass ones when they come up.
These are plastic, but what do you expect for $10.
The housings are pretty cheap as well and I wouldn't be surprised to find rust
on them after a month or so.
The Clamp part numbers are ZX64243W. These are nice heavy pieces of chrome and well worth the $5.98.
